Nanda Devi Maratha Race was organized on 26.05.2018. 7 Kms race was organized from Sanglakoti to Bijoraapani for regional youth and 40 km race under the leadership of Mr. Rajeev Banduni from Satpuli to Bijoraapani. In 07 km race, Shantha Kundalia reamins in the first place, second Suraj Rawat and Sumit received the third place. In the women category, Anjana Bisht first, Khushbu Rawat secured second place. In 40 km marathon, Sheru Joshi remains in first place, Abhinav Nirala in second and Mohit Ghindiyal in third place. Winners were rewarded by the District Magistrate Mr. Sushil Kumar. This marathon was organized under the leadership of Rajiv Banduni. Marathon Race flagged off by Chaubatkhal MLA repersentative Mr. Rajesh Singh, SO Mr. Jitender Singh Chauhan, and Ved Prakash Verma. Runners were encouraged by people.District Magistrate Mr Sushil Kumar said that the these types of competitions should be organized at time to time.
